Personal Philosophy
I believe that it is our own responsibility to choose joy in this life in all aspects of it and in everything that we do. No one gets to make that decision for you but yourself and I have found that in choosing joy and choosing to be happy in all that I have now, all I have ever had, and ever hope to have; it is the best way I can lead a healthy and positive life. I think it is imperative to be the good you wish to see in this world and I try to carry that out in all practices of my life.
Professional Philosophy
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to do something in order to help people, and am happy to have found that in helping individuals through sports medicine. As an athletic trainer I know that I have the opportunity to interact with a variety of individuals and in a variety of ways and I feel lucky to experience this in a way that many others do not get to in their professions. As an athletic trainer I also understand that the needs of my athletes may be emotional support as well as physical with injury treatment and I am always prepared to take this on if necessary. I take the duties of my job very seriously and I will do anything in my power, within my scope of practice and within ethical means, to help any person I am responsible for and always have their best interests at heart.
